This policy explains what personal data Findlet ("we", "us"), trading name of Robert Gething Limited (company number 08810107, registered office C/O Crow Valley Accountancy Ltd, Suite 9, Torfaen Business Centre, Panteg Way, New Inn, Pontypool, Gwent, Wales, NP4 0LS), collects through findlet.co.uk and how we use it. We are the data controller for the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Name, email address, phone number (if provided), delivery address, and order history. If you subscribe to our mailing list, we also store your marketing preferences and consent record.
To process and deliver your order, to send order-related emails, and, only with your consent, to send marketing emails, SMS, WhatsApp or Telegram messages about new products and offers.
Our payment provider (GoCardless) to process payment, our fulfilment supplier (CJdropshipping) to ship your order, and our email/SMS provider (Brevo) to send messages you have opted into. We do not sell your data.
We count visits to our site (page views, button clicks and where visitors came from) using anonymous totals. We do not use cookies or store anything on your device for this, and we do not keep your IP address; a one-way daily code is used only to count each visitor once a day.
Your basket and the email address you type at checkout are kept in your browser's local storage so your basket is still there when you return. This is needed for the basket to work and is not used for tracking.
We keep order records for 6 years, in line with HMRC's record-keeping requirements for a limited company. We keep your marketing preferences for as long as you remain subscribed, and delete them within 90 days of you unsubscribing.
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your personal data, or withdraw marketing consent at any time, by emailing hello@findlet.co.uk. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe we have mishandled your data.
findlet.co.uk stores a small amount of information in your browser (your basket and the email address you type at checkout) to make the site easier to use. This stays on your device and is not shared with third parties.
